When the daughter started our AU wagon today I noticed the valve gear sounded unusually noisy. Upon checking the oil level the dip stick was dry. After checking the filter and sump plug and noticing a very oily under side I put some oil in and started the motor, while it was idling I searched for a leak. I noticed oil dripping quite quickly from the oil light switch. Do these switches leak? Is it a Ford only part? Has anyone had to replace one? What tools will I need socket sze etc etc.

Thanks for your help I purchased a new switch from autobarn and the oil leak was fixed in under an hour.
Even with the CAI removed access is tight, just took my time and kept my patcients. |
