Hi all,
I have a MA XR5 that has only done about 27,000km. About 6 months ago the rear driver side window actuator (I thinks that's what it's called) failed and the window fell down and would not go up. On inspection it was revealed that a little plastic lug at the bottom that holds the cable in place has snaped off. The whole mechanism had to be replaced (Ford cover it under warranty) as it is one unit. Now the rear passenger side widow has done the same thing. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem or heard of it. I am going to try and get Ford to cover it again under warranty, as I belive that it is a design or manufactoring fault (that fact that both have now failed), even though it is out of warranty.
