Default The "Chrome" around the windows

Does anyone else here have the problem with the "chrome" around the windows getting a bit oxidised and looking a bit dull?

If so, what do you use to bring it all up shiny again? Any specific product or polish that does the trick?

I'm a bit hesitant to hit it up with some of the more standard chrome/metal polish products as I think its more of a plastic trim and don't want to scratch it beyond any sort of repair.

It looks alright from a distance but when you look at it close up, it really does show that there's blemishes and weirdness all over it. If others are doing the same you'll know what I mean, if not I'll try get a close up photo to show.
