They really must be making extreme profits having so many vehicles using the same platforms and drivetrains.
No coincidence Ford seem to be following their lead. |

modular technology is not new, what is new is using tier 1 suppliers (x16) supplying the whole car . The oem then offloads the capital cost of new models down a level. The technology and supply base is there already . Australia is perfect for such technology. One plant will make all the fords and holdens together
