Default AU XR headlamp glass.

g'day guys,

anyone know if you can replace one glass headlamp cover?
if so, whats the best way to remove and replace
&
can i use one from either passenger or drivers side?

The glass is a part of the semi sealed unit. You will have to buy a Semi Sealed unit either from the wrecker or New.

No. As long as you get the right sized light (either high or low beam) you can use it on either side.

Check out www.twinlight.com.au - they sell replacement ones (which are an aftermarket Narva one and any good auto store can get them for you) but they more importantly have the instructions on how to fit them, so use those instructions to fit a genuine light from the wreckers.

I would also recommend you fit some Lightskinz after you replace the broken one to stop it from happening again. I have and I love them, shame I did it after one cracked :

so you dont recommend the aftermarket but use their instructions?
I seen the ones fron twinlight.com on ebay. $100 each.

Yeah, the Narva ones apparently dont put out quite as much light as the standard lights, which in my opinion are a bit woeful anyway. And they can be bought much cheaper over the counter than what they are selling for on Ebay.
