Hi Rob

as far as i know, spoilers dont exist in Oz for Anglias. imho, it isnt a shape that lends itself to spoilers, but you could try the UK. the hot rod racers there might use them.

as the anglias here didnt come with a 1600, i suspect you would have to fnd a cortina gearbox, possibly a GT or 1600E item (good luck) or use one frmo an Escort.

All the KENT and SOHC 2ltr had the same bolt pattern..
A 998 / 1200 box can fit behind a 2ltr if your silly enough..
The latter more powerful clutches has bigger main shaft splines so
clutch plate had to be fitted to match... Check spigot shaft size into crank ..
The bearing MAY need changing if different gearbox is fitted..
Most use the Celica 5 speed with adapter from Dellow which WORKS really well...
The engine mounts are basically same bolt pattern as well on block..
Depending on vehicle ? Some are longer from block to body ...
The Mk3 Cortina 1600 [107E] was the strongest engine with revised camshaft, valve train in local cars.. All the Kent engines are basically the same dimensions...
The only spoilers I have seen are under front much the same as Torana XU1's..
Post up some pics ??

I don't know if this will help you at all, my first car was a Mark 1 Cortina Consule, it was a 1500, it had a 4 speed (on the tree) gear box.
However I had a mate that had a 1600 GT mark 1 cortina, that has a 4 on the floor gear box.

P.S When I opened this thread to look at it, I thought it was a thread about Angelina Jole's Body.
