Default Annoying squeak

When I'm going at low speeds (like when reversing out or driving up a driveway), there is a squeak coming from what seems like one of the wheels. Now I if that's the case I don't know how to fix it (probably simple), worried about spraying anything one the brakes. Any suggestions?

hand brake....
does it sound like its coming from the rear..?

Actually, what kind of a sueak..?
Does it only happen over bumps, or just as you're rolling along...?

IRS or live axle...?

Thanks KR1STO, its got live axle and happens when im rolling along, not over bumps. Yea I THINK it might be coming from the rear.

no worries...
first check the hand brake mate.. quite a common problem..
(get it adjusted or parts replaced if need be)
next thing to look at would be rear wheel bearings...

I'm not sure how to do that, would even know where its exactly located to be honest. How much would it cost for a mechanic to check that all?

Do you regularly drive on a dirt road, if so it might well be the bushes. The fine dust gets between the rubber bush and metal and it'll never go away, except in the rain. Only fix for that is to change all the bushes. My Fairlane has a front end squeek that bugs me and the wagon is front AND back. Once I move back home and off of the dirt roads I'll change them all.

Well I picked her up at the auctions and it was in a filthy condition sitting in the dirt there.. could that be the reason?

pull on the handbrake gently till you feel it starting to load up while moving off in drive (1ST gear) for a couple of seconds if the squeek disappears............ put money on it its the handbrake shoe/s out of alignment .

On the BAs, you must check the rear left wheel. Take it off, undo the caliper and rotor and the mechanism is probably seized like mine was.
