Default Easter Petrol Prices

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to start a thread & poll about Petrol Prices leading up to and over the Easter break.

I wanted to know the "REAL" price figures now, and compare them to the Easter holiday prices... and then a week or so after - ie: The rise and fall.

In the past few days here is NewCastle i've seen prices peak at $1.37

Prices will definately rise just before the holiday weekend. They ALWAYS do!
And then, probably drop down mid to late week afterwards so as to look like it's the normal discounting cycle!

The crooks will spike the fuel price on the Wednesday or Thursday - just to catch those that are going away for the weekend that little bit early...

Wouldn't see it coming back down for a week or so after... why would you??

People are still going to have to drive home aren't they/??

Prices will not rise in Ballarat, I know that much.

We don't even get price cycles here, funny how millions of dollars in fines for price fixing change things.......

BBQ Fuel + Diesel FTW! Can fill up the week before Easter and still last out the price rises with plenty to spare.

It's rare that unleaded is under $1.30 lately here on the Gold Coast. It did go down to $1.25 a few weeks ago and as of writing this, some places do have it for $1.259. LPG has been sitting at @ 66.9-69.9 and diesel is @ $1.20-$1.28. I know people in country areas interstate that have cheaper fuel that us. :(

I can see the prices staying high over Easter. Unless there's some weird fracture in space & time The poor little ol' fuel companies have to make their $quillions somehow. ;)

Its the same price today as it was last week, so it seems to be fine out this way.
