Default XR5 Colours

Cruised past the Ford Oz website again.

Under Build and Price section in the Mondeo stream you can choose an Ink Blue or Tango XR5. I thought these colours vanished from the range last model (MA). Strangely, if you go in via the Mondeo-only part of the site, these colours are not listed. used:

Comments anyone? Have some nicer colours finally returned....
Something other than bright red, black, white, grey1, grey2 or grey3 would be more appealing.

(Also, you can option your XR5 with a sunroof. I thought this was now standard fitment. Que?) :

There are two different areas on Ford AU website. One is called "Mondeo" which is the MA model. The other one is called "New Mondeo" which is MB.

For MB XR5, Tango and Ink Blue are not available colours. Sunroof is standard.

I like Ink Blue. Never did at first. But the Mrs liked it, so we got it. It's grown on me

Nice colour.

My only gripe about dark colours is they show up dirt, what's your experience of this?

I tried to get tango in the titanium, but they have no stock in aust and i didn't want to wait some unknown amount off time. Ended up going with Chill. I didn't like the look of the ink blue on the web site but in the flesh it looks awesome.

Without a doubt. The car has performed well above my expectations. I was hestitant at first going from one car with the same running gear into another using the same, but I have not been dissapointed.

I did love the little Focus. When running good, it was great. But I did find it being a little small. Especially those seats. Not too comfortable for someone 105+ kg's.

We did a trip to the Gold Coast last month. The car never missed a beat, cruised along happily and for the round trip of about 2,500 k's, fuel economy was about 7.8. Used about 3 1/2 tanks for the whole trip, which I thought was great.

My only regrets is that I never got Bluetooth. But having said that, we ride bikes to work, so the car really only gets a run may once through the week as well as weekend. I will look into an aftermarket. I did come across a head unit on Ebay which has bluetooth, gps, touch screen ect ect. Shows it fits Mondeo, but I'm not sure about quality.

Just put this into search on Ebay

6.2" LCD DVD GPS PLAYER FOR FORD MONDEO FOCUS 2007-10.

Yep, it's an awesome colour. I have it on my Focus XR5. It's not too bad with the dirt because it isn't as dark as Ink Blue, and because it's metallica, it keeps shining when it's filthy

The old man has Moondust Silver for his Mondeo XR5. Looks great with the dark gril and rear diffuser.
