Tweeters

Hey All.

In my '08 CL LT Focus, the tweeters located in the corner of the front
windows are bare. Nuttin' in there. Took the panel off, and can only see the
plug and loom for the electric mirros.

I was wondering if anyone has added tweeters here, or if anyone, when removing the door trim panel can see/remembers whether a loom is there
for them.

I am sure models with higher specs have tweeters here. Yeah?

hey mate, had my 09 Lv CL delivered like that also, no tweeters in it, took it into ford dealership near me and showed them and told them "what is this, why arent there any tweeters in here?" and the guy said it must have been a mistake when they were building it, so they ordered the tweeters in and voila next day they put them on. maybe take yours in to the dealership near you and tell them you just realized theres nothing in there and that you feel robbed of your money or something haha, they should fix you up.

I just *had* to go and check my tweeters and they make noise (LT Zetec)

Another interesting point is that my car's stereo can be turned on without the key. Is that right?

Yes it should play for 1 hour of keyless play. (Factory feature)

Just don't try and put your elec windows up or down. The focus is the ONLY car I know of with elec windows that as soon as you turn the ignition off the windows won't work normally you get like 30secs etc to put your window up.
