Default rear rotor replacement - handbrake question

Hi all,

My ute has just turned over 275 000k as a courier work vehicle. Still going strong.

I have just replaced the front rotors with slotted ones and new pads. Quite easy job. Now, I have to replace the rear rotors on my AUII cab chassis - non ABS brakes. They are down to just under 15mm thick. My service book does not say so, but does the hand brake have to be off to remove the rotors? Like the AUI?

regards,
Richard.
