K&N Panel filter (around $130); not really a mod as in the long run you end up saving money.

Paint callipers (whatever colour you like - anything from $3 Export paint to $20 VHT calliper paint; both work well)

Bosch AeroTwin wiper arms ($54 a pair, but they are THE BEST wipers I have EVER used in 23 years of driving)

That gets rid of your first $200 odd, and balances between mods for looks and mods for performance (both in terms of engine and wipers).

The other $100 - maybe a set of Phillips +80 bulbs (around $60 worth), or an oil change with new filter (or both) .

OR you could get the last CAI off me for $200 + p+h $60 for a filter $20 for the plumbing that leaves $20 for 1/2 a slab to have while you fit it :

Either the CAI or a cat back exhaust if thats what your after.
If it were me and there were a few k's on the clock, this is what I would do:
Bosch Plugs - $26
QLD ignition 9mm spiral wound core leads - $85
Some new oil, 10W30 - $40
Oil filter - $8
Oxy sensor (ebay) - $60
Air filter (ebay) - $50
Ticky intake - $35
Cut the front out of the airbox - Free

That will make the car feel amazing to drive, and be nice and smooth.

2.5" Cat back would get you a little bit extra, and would be a good starter for future mods.

I agree with the exhaust first... than induction, then ignition.

Look on a new AU owner's face when there mid 15 second car can retain a 700km to the tank fuel efficiency... Priceless.

Does any one actually know if an exhaust will effect the overall power by 10% on gas and improve on petrol..or is this a false statement??

An exhaust wouldn't improve your overall power by 10%. It would very minimally improve on anything, it simply allows air to flow better and more regularly but in your case, it would then be bottle necked by other things such as factory headers.
