Hey all,
ive had my AU II sedan S model for about 4 months and ive taken it to numerouse mechaniches to get the brakes fixed, they just screech like a high pitch sound all the time when used. Both of the mechanics have machined the disks and new pads, but the noise is still ther, it seems its coming from the front aswell. Also when i turn corners either way there is like a mini screech every rotation of the wheel. If you guys have any idea what this could be or how i could fix it would be greatly appreciated, considering one of the mechanices is a ford dealer!! thanks Tristan |

sounds like the handbrake most probably needs adjusting (again) this is a common thing for fords there are "how to's" if you want to do it yourself on here just do a search for hand brakes. try one of these suggestions

What type of rims do you have? If you running the stockies with hub caps there is no air flow to the brakes and they get hot and squeal. Mine used to on my EF when I was running stockies. Then when I put a nice 5 spoke rim on there they stopped squeaking instantly.

It does sound a lot like the dreaded rear wheel handbrake adjustment problem.
Are you sure it's coming from the front as well? GK
