Anyone got a How to gide for installing new handbrake ?

I just brought a Ghia leather and chrome hand brake but the wreckers already had it out so i have no idea on how install it.

i gather that its either 10 or 12mm bolts mounted to the floor and some how the cable goes in.. im yet to pull apart mine and see.

i was hoping some one has a how to guide. I know blueprint or russel or someone out there has these kinds of things haha

you can actually slide the leather handle bit off the new one and put it on your current one, the button just unscrews out too

oh i ashumed the boot was the only part that came off, wasnt aware the the handbrake it sslef was a case... i didnt think the button unscrewed i shell have to have a closer look after work 2moro

You need Torx bits to un bolt the seats ... as the handbrake bolts in through the same holes as far as I know.

I was going to do it on my ute ... but decided not to ... I have sold my replacement new handbrake now anyway.

I pulled my seat out to do mine, but I didn't realise it was unnecessary until after the fact. The button screw out, and the leather handle slides off and the boot comes off.

Yep the "gide" the other have given you is correct, just slides off.
