Default Series 2 or series 3

I have just bought a febuary 2002 au forte wagon, the person selling it tells me its a series 2 and the insurance company tell me its a series 3. Anyone know how I can tell which series it is.

AU Series three was run from November 2001 to September 2002, so it is a series 3.

Series 3 badge, smoked headlight surrounds, colour coded mirrors and trims, side skirts added, clear repeater lenses and a darker tinted windscreen.

Inside of SIII windscreen also has the black dots in the area between the sun visors above the rear view mirror.
