Default Lowered on king springs

I installed a set of progressive king lows in my AUIII about 3 days ago. The rear has come down nicely about an inch or so, but the front has only dropped about 5mm from the factory height.

Does anyone know how long it takes these springs to settle? Has anyone else had the same thing happen? If so what are my options because I would like to see the front come down a little more?

There is also a small rattle that I can now hear, since its been lowered, when the car is travelling at low speed, especially when turning a corner. It sounds like metallic tapping coming from the front end. Any ideas what this may be?

Cheers

Front will come down in about 2 weeks or so.. give it a few hundred k's. Mine was the same, then settled another 10-15mm.

Not sure on the tapping sound from the front end..

Thanks for that. I have a feeling the tapping may be from a spring that is not properly seated on the rubber.

No didn't use one. We just put some shims in behind the upper control arm.

I had noise issues after lowering mine. Make sure everything is tightened properly. That was my issue.
