Was on in Melbourne too.

Funny cause I was watching the car show on channel 9 at 12:00 and someone wrote in asking if the Musclecar Masters was gonna be televised. Glen Ridge's answer was more than likely at some time due to it's popularity and then showed some highlights. As soon as the ad break came on I looked in the TV guide and there it was, 2:00 on channel 7. Good coincidence I reckon.

Now thats REAL racing, not this freight train rubbish we get served up now (all due respect to the drivers who do a great job).
The DVD will be out later in the year.
I bought last years, has heaps of extra stuff on it.
I feel sorry for anyone too young to have been around in those great days of racing from the 70's and 80's (but I wish I was young again).

It was a good show. Will be out in november on DVD. I felt that it was a bit "holdenised", but was still good.

I remember sitting out out in the garage with a bunch of mates, a keg, the wife bringing endless snacks. Bathurst was the event. Class A, B, C ,all in there together. I can remember the mini vs P3 over the mountain.... those were the days. And who could forget the jag's. I can still remember Brock'y ( rest his soul) mouthing off how he reckoned that they wouldn't go the distance. He reckoned that they reved too hard..... Yes Peter, they did rev hard!!

I was there in those days and still have some films I took (on standard 8 & super 8) of the guys at Oran Park ... Brock in an early Torana, Freddy Gibson coming out of Energol with smoke pouring from the rear tyres of his HO, Jim Richards in his hard-top, "Fatty" Geoghan driving out of Energol leaving two faint rubber trails from the rear tyres (the master of throttle control), Moffat in the Coca Cola Mustang ... yes those were the days ... sigh.

back in those days half the car could fall apart and you would still be a chance to win. these days get a stone chip and your are out of the race.

I saw that, here in Adelaide. It was awesome. I love the Toranas up against the GTs.

They all just sound so good (most of them).
