Arrow Club name voting Part 1 (Poll)

Hi all,

Well over the past few weeks plenty of suggestions have been made on names for the Club, around 50 suggestions have been put forward, the focus group after much debate has narrowed them down to around 1/2 removing some very similar and others that would not be suitable.

Part 1 in the voting is to narrow down the 24 names to a TOP 10, so this poll is a multiple choice so you can pick all the names you like.

Then in the next few days a NEW poll (Part 2) will be created with the TOP 10 names for a final vote for the club name, Part 2 will be open for about a week to allow voting from everyone.

If one name appears to well and truly stand out then Part 2 may not be needed, so lets see how we go.

The name has to have 'Ford' in it somewhere I reckon so its recognizable as e-series Falcons. For instance 'club8898' could mean anything.

Some of the club names listed are fricken huge.

I don't want to have a sticker on my car that's a million letters/numbers long.
Please keep that in mind people!

I love 3 of them actually...

E-Force - Sounds like StarWars!

E-Ford Cruisers - Very simple and straight to the point. I won't vote for anything with 'club' because that sounds gay, so cruisers all the way.

END Cruisers - Sounds so evil and final. Bwahaha!

Some adding/subtracting of a few words can happen on the names such
Ford Club 88-98
or
The Ford Club 8898

The stuff in brackets would generally list below the name:
Club F.E.N.D.A.
Ford E/N/D Series Australia

Yeah, but still some of the names even without the bracets are still quite large.

I will wait to vote, I do like Club 8898 though

Of course on a sticker it would have FORD Car Club or something

Club 8898 sound like a strip club.

Also, 1998 was the start of the AU series too..... (just something to think about)

The top two look the best to me. (not that I count really)

Can be argued the EA came out in 87 and the XF was also still built in 88, but from 88 to 98 is when the club cars mostly are considered to be built.

*Blush
Got me there.... was not quick enough to go back and edit my post. :togo:

Anyway, depending on the way the "Constitution" was written, you could fall in to trouble down the track.

If the Constitution reads any Falcon built between 1988 & 1998, then an AU owner could join.

Where as, Any Falcon from EA to EL, NA to NL, DA to DL would cover that.

Just offering help/info, you can all tell me to jump if need be, no issue with me there.

Thanks for the advice.

Constitution has been written to make sure only EA to EL, NA to NL, DA to DL and variants can join.

Glad to hear that.
We are having issues as our Constitution state at the moment, "any XR vehicle built after BA".

At the time, that made sense and was fine, since then however, Ford have added the XR5 and XR4.
Now, depending on how you choose to read the constitution, they should be included in our club.
(a loop hole we are trying to close at them moment)

Having said that, would it not make sense to use a Club Name that was based around the wording in the contitution?
(to stop possible confusion???)

IE -Ford E(series)N(series)D(series) Club of Australia Inc.

Thanks for the input.
