Default Craig Lowndes drives for DoDo Racing

Yep it's true - it was on Today Tonight!!!! They ran a story here tonight on vehicle safety (again) and this time it was to do with the strength of the roof in vehicles during a rollover.

OK, it starts with a Ford Explorer on a rolling test bed, we see the damage from outside and inside and then we have a quick interview with Craig (in Vodaphone livery) re the strength of racing cars in a roll over. Then we cut to the Dodo car rolling over and over and some noddy woodduck making comment that Craig Lowndes got nothing more than a bruised knee - Huh!!!!!

Of course the story was made all the better with video from Formula 1, Carrera cup etc with vehicles rolling all over the place - I realise they have a point to make but Jeeze couldn't they do some homework first??

The bruised knee would be a reference to his HRT VS roll over at the end of the main straight at Calder all those years ago.

I didn't see the story, was it the Jason Richards roll over that they showed?

I thought he had to have knee reco. Craig was out of the car for a few months after that crash, from memory. Could be wrong though...

The sad thing is that there’s a probably large percentage of people that watch garbage like this and ACA and believe every word they say.

How about we treat TT and ACA with the same respect we treat Paris Hilton with, and close this thread too?
