hey ,
i am looking to lower my AU2 XR8 on superlow king springs and am unsure how many camber adjusting kits i need. i thought i would only need one but after talking to a few people i think i may need to buy two. I want to have a competitive track car that will be able to handle well. all help will be much appreciated. cheers chris. |

I had superlows put on and I bought one K-Mac Camber Kit for the fronts. There is also a nolathane setup which is a bit cheaper.
I can get a fair bit of adjustment out of them, just make sure you re tighten them after 100 odd km's. I have live axle so didn't ask about a set for the rear if you have IRS, but I'm guessing they should do something there too!. |

there is ALSO a new strange pedders one from memory
and fulcrum also do a shim type one you need to purchase 2 kits of the fulcrum one as its 1 kit per side (you need 4 brackets) alignment shops have a bundle of shims they use rather than having to buy loads more..

Go the kmac kit mate.. fully adjustable and alot easier by way of a ratchet mechanism I have a set on my XR......

how much is it for a k-mac kit and where can i get one from? i was told that i would need two kits as my car has two pivots each side and 1 kit only replaces 1 pivot on each side. do i need a kit for the back? my car is irs.

if its an XR i beleive htey had the longer bolts already in the rear..
i dont believe there is any more "kit" you can buy to adjust the rear any further but unless its in the weeds you should be fine
