Default E-series "gt" ute

hey,

I was just searching carsales for GT's and came across this beast, its ont of those wagons chopped into a ute but this guys gone and made it into...'IT 'S A ONE OF, THE ONLY EA GT UTE IN THE WORLD.'

anyway thought you might be interested in having a look
http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars...atchallpartial

I wouldnt mind it, but the price seems a bit rich

that looks sweet as. Looks like the rear end is the wagon choped down. Might be seeing things but there looks like as if there is some vy/vz ute in it - the tail gate and the top parts of the panels above the tail lights. Still looks the goods though.

They've certainly done a good job of it. It's a shame Ford didn't build a real e-series ute.

LOL....the more I look at it the more I like. The shot of the rear has a bit of VZ maloo about it, not sure how to describe it.

The rear end looks alot better than the XF-XH. Colour is great too.

36 grand for a "bitsa" !!
Not for me thanks.
And GT badge on a 6 cylinder ute, C'mon !
I can however appreciate that alot of work would have gone into it.
Just not my 'cup of tea'.

Ditch the GT badges and put XR6 ones on there. With the turbo badge from an XR6T. And the turbo from an XR6T. And a 6 speed. And buy the 6 speed conversion kit from me. And ditch the rear spoiler.

FCUCK that is a hot ute.

*EDIT - haha. The swear filter here is wacked!

Yeah thats a wagon chop.

I've been lucky enough to see the car in real, it's in Cairns. No expense spared with that ute!

Great looking ute.

If you read into it, it says its a XH ute base, not a wagon chop, and like Polyal said, you can see similarites in a XH rear end.

Im pretty sure they were all just chopped wagons. Doesnt look like too many XH parts on it. The quarter? windows look like there from the back door and maybe the rear glass is XH or custom?
Id much rather that than a BA or BF ute. Id just take the GT badges off.

where do you get that from?...XH's had an XF dash with a different center pod and doortrims.
it started out as an EA....thats clearly visible by the windscreen cowling.... they've obviously done the EF interior conversion

like i said earlier it looks a LOT like a hillier conversions one..

that doesnt deserve the GT badge its not a V8.
it look great and the EF interior is much better than the EA interior.
still disapointing to see a i6 instead of a V8 on a car with GT badges.
