I went from an XG "S" to an AUII non-VCT XLS ute ... and I thought that was a bloody good upgrade for my line of work.
It's a much more modern vehicle. I suggest getting a Series 2/3 model ... bigger brakes and few other goodies as well. Cabin space is huge in the AU compared to the X-series utes as well. Also load area is already lined in the AUs and handles loads better as well.
