SBS has killed Ch 7 in terms of the quality of the coverage, at least they dont chop and change every 5 mins.

My lowish opinion of soccer just got even lower the other night, in the Japan vs China womens match. A jap bird took a massive dive, did the usual cry and moan act, got carried off on a stretcher, the moment the stretcher hit the ground off the sideline she sprinted off and went to get the ball and have a shot at goal. That crap should get a massive penalty. Any of that acting in the hockey I saw they got a penalty against them. Soccer is in real trouble, if they allow that rubbish to continue.

As for the polish girls volleyball side.... sporting young lasses they are! Not bad on the eye either!

I love it.

It is great to see some other sports instead of the same boring football, cricket v8supertaxis crap that is normally on.

Good effort when you consider SBS has the Olympics on as well with 7% of the viewing audience.

It's a hard ask, I think the only way they can beat the USA is to drive in hard to the basket and get the big guys fouled off, or play dirty and get them all riled up. That what take some cahuna's though!

Remember back to Atlanta when the Australians were beating the Dream Team for the first half of the game. The crowd was completely silent until the second half of the game when the yanks finally hit the lead..

Got to shut down their full court game, they score allot on the fast break, make them play half court and they'll turn it over.

How crap is Channel 7?

Here I was totally engrossed in the mens pole jump with Steve Hooker ready for his final jump to win gold. Didnt know the result.

Then a news break and it only took a couple of seconds for Jennifer Keyte to spoil it all by saying that he won gold!!!

Talk about a "Spoiler", that was shocking television at its worst.

Retards…

I had the TV on in the background and couldn’t believe it when dear old Jen decided to tell everyone.

FFS, they only had to wait another 20 mins.

Ch 7 seem to be too greedy with their telecasts now. They have the olympics, the footy, V8's, and they all run into one another and get compromised.

They should either get Ch10 to do the sports that clash with their own, or take advantage of digital TV and put a sport on each

AHahahaha, I noticed it too. But it's all a crock of poo.

Channel 7, is replay city. Most of the start used to be some live TV, now it's all repeats.
That was on last night's TV (pole vaulter), not today. It was the 4th replay in 3 hours.
It was just so right of the timing to go to an ad break, with the news of the result 3 seconds later.
It was all a "Come in Spinner". I laughed my head off after the 4th replay only to be told in an update "He's won gold".

Channel 7 is so busted on replays, but claiming they are Live. Even the Hockey, the mens played last night. Was funny as they went to another ad break late this arvo, and just happened by chance there was a "goal" scored, just to make it look like it was live.
We are all conned.

That makes you laugh pretty hard? What a sad exhistance you must endure.. Absolutly usless even? Wow,

Closing ceremony has been great thus far, London won't come close in my opinion. Wish they'd hurry up and get to the final fireworks so I can get some sleep!

They should go back to simple opening and closing ceremonies.
Concentrate on the athletes coming out.

Those light shows have become a real bore.
