Albert Park Lake bbq set up is pretty good as they have about half a dozen or so scattered around with the main one (the site we will get) has a big gazebo over it giving us plenty of shelter and only 2 mtrs from where our cars will be parked.
Public amenities are a 1 minute walk away and in a worst case scenario, my sister lives across the road from the lake, so all bases covered I think.

Sounds like an EXCELLENT plan.. go for it, I'll help out any way I can!

Oh, and this will be a kid friendly, family event. Anyone with wives, girlfriends, kids etc, bring them! I'll be bringing mine.

HEll yeah... im in for sure...

Sunday is good for me too... i imagine some people may be working saturday anyway?

Lets make it massive, get as many of us down there as possible. Ive only had mine for 3 months so a cruise with a big of AU's will be sweet! And meeting you all too would be good to put a face to the name.

Early Feb... Done deal!

BLUPRNT XR8 and Casper....

Even though im new here id be keen to help out too, anything that needs doing. Im a graphic designer, so i could even make a flyer (for on screen use or print) to get even more people along... bit of visual advertising never goes astray!

Anyway, just let me know and lets get this to happen. Two months to go and counting!

Appreciate the offer.. I'm sure we can think of something!!!

Actually, the one thing we dont have is a banner proclaiming who we are. Something simple like a blue banner with the aufalcon.com logo on it to put up so as people walk by they can see who we are.. and maybe even come over to ask questions.

Might be worth looking into, leave it with me.

Thanks BJMXR I'm sure we can use your talents, sounds good Casper.

OK, heres the deal folks;

1. The site we want can only be booked on a Saturday between November and February-NO SUNDAYS. :jab:

2. SUNDAY BBQ can only be booked in after February.

3. I need a number of cars/people attending as to secure the parking arrangements which they also need for the permit.

So if you guy's are up for a MARCH BBQ let me know coz' then we can muster up as many AU Owners out their and gives us an idea what we will need.

Casper, let me know what you think. :evilsasmo

I think Sunday is the go, the poll is overwhelmingly clear.. so I'm for a March BBQ. That also gives plenty of time for everyone to get organised etc.

Everyone else agree?

Also, based on last time (over a dozen AU's) I would say that the interest in this one is greater so 25 cars would be close to the mark.. at least

Why don't you guys do an interstate cruise. Adelaide have their All Ford Day on the 12th of March. Providing I can get my leave changed for March, I'll make the trip over. I know another AU is thinking about the trip also. Melbourne is only about 6 hours from Adelaide? Do it as an overnight event?
