Why is it that whenever I put an electrical appliance out for the hard rubbish collection, someone cuts off and takes the power cord?

They take the cord to strip and remove the copper.
The same thing had me curious so I asked a guy who was doing it.

Not to mention old 1+2 cent coins. Used to have a large money tin full. Worth a lot more than what the bank gave, I've heard.

Used to use them to fill holes in copper brass radiators, from oil coolers and the like. Ran out a few years ago.. never placed any value on them hahaha

1-2c coins are worth far more than just the face value.

"According to rare coin dealer Andrew Crellin, the value of these two cent coins have been steadily increasing in value. “Several coins that have been independently graded as being among the finest known examples have recently made prices in excess of several thousand dollars on a leading online auction site,” he says."

apparently worth more to collectors than what they are worth in copper scrap.

Why is it that people seem to think its a great idea to park their car under a tree?

I have a workmate who parks her car under a large gum tree in hot weather, presumably to try and keep the cabin cool.

But, in my mind, this leaves the paintwork vulnerable to bird droppings or any debris that may fall from canopy during windy weather. These trees are also known to drop limbs.

Is this just me who wonders this?

Why is it that people pull up to the pump at the servo, don't get fuel, & walk in past 3 empty parking bays?

Why is it you eat something that is so good that you want a second one, and the second is nowhere near as good?

Why is it that there is chips in my bag of air that I purchase?

Why is it that I'm the only guy at my gym that knows how to use a bench press correctly?

The correct procedure:
1) lift weights until you're exhausted
2) get up and let somebody else use the bench

They all seem to think it's:
1) do one set
2) sit there and talk to your buddy on the next bench for twenty minutes before doing another set.

I don't even want to get started on the blokes that seem to think it's necessary to hoard every piece of iron in the building for their curls... even though they only end up using one dumbbell.

Seriously what is up with that?

Because they're self absorbed *******. It appears to be the norm in gyms today. I see so many people do one set and then sit on the machine and text, surf the net, Facebook and six or seven minutes later they're still sitting there while other people are waiting to use the gear. Or people that expect to reserve 3 bits of gear so they can superset at 5:30pm when the gym is at maximum capacity. I've been trying at the gym for over 30 years and it's the worst I've seen but now days I have no problem either telling them to hurry the **** up or get off.

I know i hate those people, and usually have to wait for them or go on another machine in the hope they hurry up before you cool down.
Usually the young blokes who do 5 mins of workouts in an hour then they strut around infront of the mirror to see if that 5 mins has done anything. lol so funny.

That's why I train at home, I would end up punching someone or dropping a weight on their head if I trained in a public gym.

But the thing is i was following it today and it failed to indicate around 3 corners and 1 roundabout.
If i was a cop i would yellow sticker the car just because...

Why is it some people have these little cars like smart cars ect but it still takes them 2 mins to reverse out of a car park and can't judge that there is still 2 metres behind them of space before they back into something..
Funny to watch, i used to reverse my bronco out quicker lol

This always seems to amaze me as well, I remember doing a road closure a while back diverting traffic around a crane set up on a roadway and this guy in a Suzuki swift stopped all of a sudden, when I approached he said, that his car won't fit, mind you he was following a semi trailer that fitted just fine..

One of the workes said.'mate it's time you buy a smaller car that one is clearly too big for you', he was not a happy camper.

Why is it most people will use their garage to store old boxes of crap and old cardboard boxes with a combined total of about $200 and then park their cars worth 40-50k out in the weather for their entire life?

I'm so with you on that

My garage has that much 'sh%t' in it, it's not funny! I have to park my GT at work....But that's my fault too

I have always wondered this myself, my cars are locked in a garage all the time, I seem to be the only one doing that out of the people I know, and many have cars worth more than mine, and they just sit out in the weather, while the rusty $30 lawnmower and old plant pots and other assorted rubbish fills the garage
