Default Update

Ive had a few people ask me on msn for pics of the NC so thought I might post up a few.

Basicly since Ive had it ive colourcoded the car, started putting new chrome on it and put AU V8 badges on the guards. Also put Rmyers old FTR's on it from the EA and Im thinking I need to go bigger like 18" for it being a larger car then the EA.

Enginewise Besides new plugs, Custom 10mm leads, AU Tickford Snorkle, modded CAI with K&N pod and painting the Enginecover thats about it. Seems to go good enough for me at the moment. 15.9 was better then the EA's 17.1 :

Thanatos and I knocked up the boot install just after I got it just as a tempory thing as Im building a new one at the moment which will have the amps sunk into the floor like with my EA one with 'Ford' Cuttout Perspex cover. Then its just a matter of getting the 15" and two 7" Monitors into the bootlid.

Inside Ive put the leather Ghia seats from the EA in with a DC LTD back seat that I picked up for $30 :. Im getting quotes at the moment to get the seats recovered in leather with black swede inserts with LTD stitched in silver (Bah I wanna do it so no comments about it being a NC). Its getting its interior doorhandles at the moment electroplated so i should have them back in blingin chrome soon

And I love the hole in the roof more then ever with the nice weather

Mick

Lookin' good Mickey-D, just one thing though: the woodgrain appears mismatched (auto fascia vs HU surround & doortrims. Did EBII/NC/DC/ED Fords have different woodgrain types or did they come from factory like that?

I prefer EA-EB1 velour doortrims myself :P But I guess I'm biased.

the Radio/Tbar/Elec woodgrain bits are from a LTD where the doortrims are NC fairlane. I havent seen a good set of LTD woodspears for sale in a while thus why I havent changed them. LOL No shiznizz your biased :P

The Roofmount in the rear is a 8" that I got off ebay. Its just linked of the Clarion headunit. Whatever the Clarion shows it shows, etc

If your interested my old one is for sale (Random Plug) _2:

Naw, I reckon the radio bit suits the door bits, but the T-bar bit appears to be different for some reason.

/off topic I checked out that "XR6" wagon I was telling you about. Non-genuine, blown head gasket, fair to average condition and crap respray.

Very nice, interior system is awesome.

IMO however, the auto shifter doesnt work. Its rounded shape with the square-ish interior just doesnt sit right. Could be the angle of the shot.
