Ahhh memories

Pity its all CGI, i liked the last effort from 1990... Real people in costumes.
They probly could have done the same, with a bit of CGI to enhance it a little.

I agree, just look how good it was in Pirates of the caribbean: Dead mans chest.

Was a bit disappointed, as the original was one of my all time favourites...

Im sorry, but you can always spot CGI. Nothing beats quality puppetry. CGI always seems to lack a realistic movement.

yep, even Spielberg still uses optical effects and using true optical movie cameras (as opposed to HD digital video), takes more effort, but the results are more believable when done right
