you also forgot to mention that in some cases fuel economy is better, funny that :p

10.9 vs 11.0 is negligable difference. You will find the fuel consumption variation between VEs will differ more than the 0.1 L/100km improvement Holden claim over the VZ Executive.

NB - Surprised to see the Executive name replaced by the Omega. Logic dictates that the new poverty pack model should have been called the 'Rear Admiral'. :

I think if the new models are at least the same as before (fuel consumption)they will be happy as they will be banking on the rest of the car to sell itself.

Re Omega - it looks like the base model will be very well specced in relation to anything else in its class - higher than previous Acclaim. NZ will only be getting model with alloys and elcts as poverty pack and rumour is it will be priced very competitive for fleet market. Considering therefore it will be higher specced than say Futura for much less dollars its Ford who will be worried unless they to have planned an upgrade.
