Default Annoying Buzzing

I have an annoying buzzing sound from my system in my car, it goes with the revs of my car and now its really annoying and you can always hear it, ive ran the power cable and speak cable seperate, ive seperated the RCA's and some of it stopped but its still loud! any suggestions on how to fix it?

If the noise is that bad, try running the earth from the headunit and amp all to 1 point.
(Use nice thick ground leads).

If you are running an amp too , are you using decent quality shielded coax cable ?

The gold tip plated plugs help remove noise a tadd too , if your doing all the above / and have a good earth / then your probably gonna have to go for a noise filter as i mentioned earlier.

By the sounds of the 1 your brother got , it is cutting into the db. range to earlly (thus cutting the base out ) , it is over filtering .
I haven't checked out the jaycar ones personally , but i have seen good noise filters in the past that have had a variable knob/dial on it so you can adjust the filter until it just cuts the noise out / and doesn't start cutting into the musics db. range. / it was almost sorta worked like a squelch dial you find on a cb radio.

gl , cheers .

A couple of years ago I had a top of the line Pioneer system fitted by JB Hi Fi, to my dedicated gas AUIII, couldn't get rid of the noise.
Turned out to be the different iginition system on the straight gas motors
