I picked up my new (well new to me) au11 xr8 after by some ****er smashed my auIII 220kw but I never tested the premium system. When I drove it home the thing was buggered. Apperently its a large problem as I have a mate at ford. He said you can order a refrub one with no warranty or a new one with a warranty but it was expensive.

Simple and cheap solution, get a FM transmitter from dick smiths or JB (an iTrip or something for an iPod) and it works spot on thru the cars radio. The sound quality thru the Belkin unit I bought is extremely excellent and all for $75 with a car charger for the device which I plug into my MiniDisc player.

Easy as I reckon!!!
