Hi Team
My cat converter is making a terrible rattling noise, and the fuel efficiency of the vehicle has gone to **** and is going through fuel incredibly quick. Will simply removing the cat fix the allow the fuel economy enough to at least be driven? |

Yes, AU won’t trip any fault codes as it has no post-cat sensor. Good to go.
Please be safety aware with respect to carbon monoxide poisoning risk, this used to kill quite a lot of people. |
