Just reading the latest Unique Cars magazine article on an XY Falcon 500 T code, being rarer than the GT, and the development process that had gone into them for the Police.
What about an XW Falcon 500 T code, are they classified in the same rare status, or rarer ? |

What kind of T code are we talking about with an XY? I"ve got a T code but it's the ED XR8 Sprint motor.
T Code for ZC Fairlane was the Windsor 4Bl 351? Was it a 2Bl 351 for XY?

In the magazines XY Falcon 500 is a 351c T code ( 4v & 4 barrel carb ), FMX & 9 inch.
XW Falcon 500 has 351c T code ( 4v & 4 barrel carb ) Top loader, & 9 inch from factory. |

This page might help?
http://www.fomoco.com.au/id.html Sounds pretty cool, an XY Falcon 500 with the GT motor, for the Police. Did it happen in the XW? Was it a T Code Windsor if so? Curious. Edit: the only way you could get a 351 in XY Falcon 500 was to get the K code, 3512V was what I thought... Of these, the earliest ones were imported from the US before the Aussie plant started up. Did these earlier US 351 2Vs have better heads? Was this the D block, or penny block? Apologies if this is all common knowledge, it's been years since I read this stuff up.
