Default Coolantflush

Um im not sure what i heard but when u do a coolant flush on ef do u have 2 get the front up in the air abit 2 get the air out the system or not ? :

No... Just idle the car with the heater on and the radiator cap off for 10 mins or so until its at normal operating temp. That will clear all the air.

The thermostat housing is the highest point of the engine and the coolant tank is slightly higher than that, so its natural for the air to move upto there.

Unless of course your driveway is a 45deg downward slope.
