check out konis web site www.koni.com or where i got mine fitted www.wholesalesuspension.com.au and your questions will be answered,i dont think all koni yellows are externally adjustable as mine still have to be taken out,but as i say check out those web pages they list all the koni range and all the differences between them.

Hope this helps

I don't know if i can justify $1100 for Pedders.

I gotta do this SOON! my rubber mounts have broken away from the shock mount and the rattling and noise is sickening. I really cant drive it around now without doing more and more damage i feel.
Don't underestimate the Pedders product.. their stuff is relatively good value for money when you take into account that you're paying for an engineered system that has been optimised to work as a whole - i.e shocks/springs are matched to eachother. I've had their sportsryder system in my EF for over 6 years (over 100,000kms) and its stood up fairly well, no major complaints.

Having said that the Pedders stuff will never be as good as the Koni products but keep in mind that $1200 will only buy you shocks.. then you need to worry about matching springs. I suppose it comes down to what you want and how much you're willing to spend..

If you're planning on keeping the car for a while keep in mind that Koni shocks can be rebuilt whereas the Pedders shocks need to be thrown out..
