Hi, I have a may 99 option 20 police pack with what looks like a factory 200kw hand built engine, has the hand built tags on the body and engine, and also the colour coded interior like the 200kw pursuit utes got. Could this possibly be one of the first to get the 200kw motor from the factory in the au?

Somebody will confirm, but 1999 should be a 185kw. I'm sure 200kw was from April 2000 AUII.

Im thinking because option 20 is special order from Ford, it may be optioned with it prior to the official release, as police could order a range of options not available to the public

engine number should match the vin, i had a Nov'99 opt 20 cop car, its was a 185kw engine
the car is 20 years old and might have had something done to it since i threw a big cam and exhaust at my AU1 and loves it, only sold it because it was almost up to 400,000km
