Default What new models/variants would you like to see?

As well as my ba XR8 I also drive around in a 99 cherokee at the weekends. I tend to take a keen interest in any new jeep models that appear and was pleased to see the release of a 5.7 litre hemi performance version (STR8?) of the grand cherokee recently. Havent seen one close up yet but I understand it is lowered/body kit and is not designed for off road use...apparently it can smoke all 4 with ease. Porsche have recently released a new high performance version on the cayanne. Apart from the turbo territory which sounds ok..... I would love to see an XR8 variation of the Territory......which similar to the new jeep would not be intended for off road.....just a pure performance variant.

On another matter....read the recent issue of modern motor...where a performance road test result indicated that the XR8 was slightly quicker than the GT..apparently the extra 40kgs the GT carries negates the benefit of a extra 30kw....

If anything, I'd like to see a XR option on the Falcon wagon.

Turbo Ghia sedan? If it existed today I would buy it. Velvet glove with iron fist. A complete sleeper. Oh how wonderful it would be.

I'm with Iphido, just add the option of injected LPG, but I can't see Ford/Holden being sharp enough for that sort of thinking

If I could have the Boss 260 in the LTD I would buy one tomorrow. Also, I'd like to see the turbo motor as an option on both fairlane and LTD.

The 3 valve is a good motor, feels likes it's got a better torque curve (in stock form) than the BOSS 260 (cant comment on the GT). Modded the car will do low 13's (reading from the drag racing post on this forum).

Edit: The 3V mentioned had a 3.45LSD, so that will make the times better than with the stock diff.

honestly we dont need any more soccer mums and the like driving around in oversized cars/undersixed trucks whatever they are... should have to prove you use them off road to be able to drive them publically... but thats just my point of view...
back on the subject, i would like to see a coupe, among probably everyone else, but also a landau... 290 boss, ltd everything else... and enough guards to whack on some 10 inch tyres... hell yeah...

2007 F250 Lariat 6.4 Twin Turbo Common Rail Diesel with 6 speed auto - supposed to be around 300kw/800Nm stock

Turbo Territory Ghia AWD just to drive to work everyday

maybe a Focus RS8 5.0 RWD for the shopping

and a GTHO V10 Hybrid elcectric E85 supercharged just to show it finally became available

Then I wake up.....

BF XT sedan available with 5.4 V8 and 6 speed manual. Manual V8 XT sedans were available in the BA range so why did Ford drop this model? I always liked the poverty pack sleeper model.

they would be a good car to own wouldnt they... nice fun car, nothing over the top... would dtill beat a lot of the rice burners on the streets... stick an exhaust on it, dump it and tint it, and theres a sweet ride, for 30 odd grand... would also like to see a cosworth sierra/escort type car... a gtr beater from ford, how good would that be... even as rs200, use the new xr5 turbo motor... hehehe

I think the Fairmont Ghia Turbo is the best thing I could ask for. Everything else is accounted for really.
