AUII. The original remotes started to fall to pieces so I picked up a couple of new ones. They are recognised and will train but will not lock the car. Pressing the lock switch locks the doors, indicators flash etc then they unlock and the alarm gives 4 beeps. I got the originals out and retrained them, but they now do the same thing - lock/unlock/4 beeps. All was working well up till now apart from flakey buttons on the old pads. Any ideas?

Sorted it out, but no idea what was causing it. Retrained the fobs a dozen times with no difference so I cycled the doors few times with the dash button then manually opened and closed them and locked and unlocked the drivers door with the key. Retrained the remotes and they are now working. Must have been some bit of a glitch somewhere in the circuit. I'll leave the msg up in case anyone else has a similar problem so it will turn up in a search. (Couldn't find any answers when I searched myself.)
