My pick would be the BF Typhoon personally.
Better looking IMO and I've been hearing a fair bit about FGs rusting already, worse than the B series did.

It's a common question, it largely depends if you're a V8 or Turbo kind of guy and what you're planning mod wise in the future. It's your decision, there is no right or wrong answer.

FG over B series. Looks and everything else ...... and would also have the V8 everyday of the week. But then that is my opinion.
I would say, buy the one you like the best after a drive of both. Thats the problem with these types of threads. Everyone likes for different reasons. No right or wrong answer.

IMO the FG turbo probably drives the best, however the Typhoon looks the toughest and can get power just as easily if not easier than the FG, as it has the larger turbo stock.

FG XR8, or better yet, a GS or GT.

all great cars..
But cant really compare them head to head as they would all be in various states of condition / km etc. If they were all the same condition id take the BF typhoon but unlikely that they are. (likely the typhoon will have the highest km of the three being the oldest) Get the lowest km best condition car that you can afford. Id buy a low km mint N/A XR6 over a roughie XR6T All the little niggly things that go with a higher km car will annoy you so much. |

chasing 300rwkw is easier to do in a turbo
put 10k into a v8 and get close but not there unless you have a 302 or 315 motor but you will always be missing 2 cylinders haha each to their own

I had to make that same decision. I went the BF Typhoon and to be honest im glad I did. I think the FG looks too plain. Whenever I saw an FG XR6 Turbo on the road I wouldn't look twice, but I would with the Typhoon. Just my opinion. The FG does have stability control over the Typhoon though as well as a couple newer enhancements. Still I love the BF Typhoon
