Default finding out cars originality

Hi everyone,
Is there anyway to find out if a car is genuine, I have a john goss special,(I think I have) I have had it since mid 80's. and never been restored, but somewhat tired in the paint department. Does ford release any info from VIN. and how can I obtain the info.

You should have no need to worry with a goes special you've owned since the 80s. They were common back then so no point in making a copy. But I'm sure there's a club somewhere that can help you prove the point

Call 13FORD, you can get a verification letter upon confirming your ID and ownership. It will list the factory options on your car which should be: options 32, 39, 48 and 68 (http://www.aussiecoupes.com/jgs.html).
