DEW98 was regarded as a failure though, and it certainly didn't have any models spawned from it producing 400hp.

Only going by threads that I looked at to back up my facts. General opinion was it was a failure. Remember of course that it was near obsolete by 2002 and Jaguar only started to turn things around, product wise, in the last 7 years or so.
