Default 87 t5 ecu numbers & auto ecu numbers

I always see posts about ecu numbers for
early ea, t5 manual + auto 3 speed numbers
for mpi conversions.

Since i have been down this path myself &
found the numbers for these things ,through
a lot of mucking around for the real thing, i
thought to post it to forum readers who
themself get stuck in this grey area.

EA T5 manual reads bottom right (87da-12650_AD)
top right (7 DAD) bottom left (EFI)

EA 3 speed auto reads bottom right (87da-12650_BC)
top right (7DBC) bottom left (EFI)

these are for all pre smartlock ea,s

U can not go wrong as CFI is for centre point
& the numbers are totally different.
hope this helps any one stuck in this area
regards JEDAARR
