8pm this evening i was helping some friends bring in drinks, bang, booze in a glass bottle lost its base as it smashed on concrete, but something else happened, the neck of the bottle managed to shootup and hit me on the top of my eye socket... what a great night
lucky i didnt loose my eye. lost 2hours at the hospital to receive, "oh it will be fine" and nothing else. lol ended up having a good evening i can't beleive the force of the neck of the bottle, it was full and unopened...grrrr

Hmmm, scary....
One of my mates used to do his own home brew & always used too much sugar or whatever the hell you brew it with. It was a common thing to 'enter the room of death' to get more beers as you never knew when they were going to explode!! Ed |

heh room of death... then the problem is that when one explodes, it tickles the one next to it and causes a chain reaction...

Many MANY years ago (like 20) we had a friend who did a big home brew and stored the bottles in a old shed out the back... They had to pull it down as it ws devastated by a home brew chaing reaction.. nothing survived :
