Default EGR Blanking plate

Has anyone run a blanking plate in a MA Diesel Mondy? Any problems with the CEL ? What benefits have you found?

Hey, have you decided to install one of these bad boys?
If so, self made or get one from fleabay?
I just picked up an MA TDCi yesterday and in my research these look all pros with no cons (over looking the legal aspects...).

Hi White,

Have you discovered this?

I think MA got the Euro 3 engine. Doesn't matter to me as I won't be fitting one.

Cheers

Yes Alan I have read that one. Thanks heaps for putting it up here. I am still not sure what I will do. At present I am upgrading the headlights. Done the chipbox and that is recommended. I am going to pull the egr valve off and take a look at soon. Not sure how bad it will be. car has done 175k so unless it has been done before it may be a bit grunged up.

$10 to get one shipped from UK sounds alright.
