Default 2012 EcoLPI Fuel Economy Improvement

http://www.themotorreport.com.au/530...g-mkii-upgrade

Quote:
Ford has eked out a small but significant improvement to the LPG-powered Falcon EcoLPi's fuel economy, part of this month's FG MkII model updates.

Launched earlier this year, the Falcon EcoLPi listed fuel consumption figures between 12.5 l/100km for the base XT variant, and 12.6 l/100km for the G6, G6E and XR6 models - already an improvement of 16.1 and 15.4 percent over its E-Gas predecessor.

For 2012, the FG MkII Falcon EcoLPi will boast a 0.2 l/100km improvement across the range. That's 12.3 l/100km figure in XT form, and 12.4 l/100km for the higher-spec offerings.

The EcoLPi isn't the only model to gain a fuel economy improvement however. The XR6 Turbo Ute, equipped with the six-speed automatic transmission (but no EcoLPi system), has dropped 0.1 l/100km to 12.4 l/100km.

See below for more on the FG MkII range, and the Falcon EcoLPi.
