Default 4x4 MKII Focus RS

While tuners in the UK have been hard at work unleashing huge amounts of power from the Mk2 Focus RS, it seems that our Euro neighbours haven’t exactly been standing around twiddling their thumbs either.

Unveiled at the Essen show late last year, the Wolf Racing Allrad 400 uses Kuga four-wheel-drive underpinnings and a Drexler differential to give the Mk2 RS the transmission that many feel should have been on the car in the first place.

At the moment, the car is still being ‘fine-tuned’ by Wolf in Germany, but we have it on good authority that this working prototype is not far from being finished.

Which means that in theory, you should be able to order your four-wheel-drive conversion from Wolf Racing’s UK distributor Profile Automotive in the not too distant future…

It surprises me with the amount of torque these things are pumping out that they didn't design an AWD system for it years ago, will it fit the XR5T as well ? There could well be a worldwide market for the platform if the conversion cost isn't too exhorbitant
