very unusual design, mainly due to it will require two different bodies depending on what country it goes to. What ever happened to common sense when exiting a vehicle?
The ad doesn't really do it for me. |

Thought at first the person might get aids - being the Grim Reaper n all.

I'm with lockieoc, what happened to common sense? I think one door on the far side and two on the near side is a retarded design.
But that ad actually made me lol. I like it! |

The ad, although is a stupid ad. I can understand why it is banned, Lots of little kids who watch TV don't understand the grim reaper, and his "job."
But i can understand the sense of the car, find it a good idea. Too hard to implement unless in certain countries only though. But why was she in the back in the first place. You can't get gobbies if she's in the back..?

I think the mini wagon has a 3 door design? They only have the 1 body as well, so the Aussie delivered cars have 2 doors opening to the street.

Overal, not a bad ad - not the idea would catch on, nor is it practical.

it's a little shocking at first, but the advert has a good safety message as well as selling the car, so i think it's forgivable. You have to be shocking to get noticed sometimes since we are bombarded by 3000 pieces of advertising a day.
and, no. Common Sense is not common. Quote:

The MINI Clubman has three doors as well.
Two on the drivers side and one on the passengers. ;) |

I'm gonna go against the grain and say I agree that it's a shocking ad. My jaw actually dropped when I saw the "girl" get hit by the car.
That being said, I'm not going to say it should necessarily be banned. Each to their own. It would actually make a fantastic road safety campaign. |
