Default Another cracked firewall

Well i new it was coming with my almost daily need to adjust the clutch cable and the water on the floor.
This afternoon it was almost impossible to select a gear but i did make it to the workshop.
This is going to hurt the back pocket.

Hey Adam and all,
Im new here but from what i have read im starting to see i have some similar issues to others, one of which being a pool of water on the floor of my AUIII XR8 ute which was also the same pool of water in my late AUII xls one tonner. Everyone seems to points a cracked firewall, i dont have any issues with my clutch or pedals apart from a sticky accelorator, was just wondering on how you got it fixed and what it set you back. I might be able to use the same guy as im in Vic aswell. Cheers

Does the dash have to come out to replace the pedal box in an AU?

try this first daymo...
http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11220972

fixed my water problems.. anything suspect at all, just throw a tonne of silicon glue on it and make sure its got a good hold on the metal/paint...

..au adam, who did your work and how much were you charged? my pedal feels pretty ****, ive changed the clutch cable already.. i cant see any firewall issues, but the pedal is bent a bit.. im thinking maybe i need a new clutch.

not in an Au, just a bit cramped for space, you just have to lower the steering column as low as you can.

Did you have a HD clutch in when your firewall cracked?
