That car maybe on sold as repairable write off. Friend of mine brought back his damaged car through the auctions cheaply. It was then used as the donor car for his next ride.

Good news i've retained my fairlane , thinking what to do with the motor sell or hold the rest of the parts would be up for sale

if you're thinking of selling the motor, box, ecu and loom could you please pm me a price for the whole lot stavro...?
also, is it possible to come check out the car? i wouldn't mind posibly purchasing the complete car minus wheels...

How did you get to keep it?
Did you buy it back or is it still yours because it wasnt your fault (this happens with some insurers)

Told the insurer that i wanted the wreck, they gave me an offer i accepted, best thing even if it wasnt your fault go with your insurance not the others

scat stroker srp pistons, edel performer heads untouched,rpm11 manifold, 80mm throttle body, 1.7 rollers cam specs below put out roughly 236rwkw.

i moved a good amount of parts relativly quickly then the interest just died off and now its give away time but nobody wants anything else:(

Been a while sold my house and bought another and just starting to get on top of things , debating what my next project is going to be, EF/L XR 6/8 heritage green, AU fairlane 6/8 again in black and transfer my running gear, do a bit more work on the motor while it's out??? slightly confused which way to go

EF/EL hands down and if ur gona do any work to the engine u may want to consider seeling it and build a Dart SHP engine as dollar is GREAT right now

Thinking going for a lighter car with a bit more grunt, might get the heads sent out or by other ones, but most likely lighter car.

would be better if u sell ur heads and buy a knew set and and EF/EL XR8 is 63kg lighter compared to your AU fairlane according to red book.

Do u want to go cortina or capri???

Not much difference in weight thought a couple of 100kg lighter at least!!!!
