Got the xr5 Rims on a while ago, pics below as promised, (still need to get centre caps on, the zetec rim ones were too small)

However, just yesterday some ******* cut me off, forcing me to gutter my front left rim

that looks really nice there but have you adjusted your bump stops to xr5 spec? the wider rims (I am told) if you try to do a full lock turn will cause contact somewhere on the car, possibly damaging your wheels or your car or both - looks nice good work

To adjust steering stops (I think thats what you mean Mrbaxr6t) the best way is to get rack ends taken off steering rack and "spacers" put in between rack ends and rack body so the rack "bottoms out" on the spacers thus reducing steering radius.
Think it was a nissan 300zx i seen it on. It used a big washer and a rubber style bush only about 10mm in lenght, Not sure if thats a factory thing or not.

Yeh i was concerned about that before getting the tyres, but it turns out the 225 tyres fit well (225/40Z/R18).

If I had gone 230 they would have been rubbing on the struts on full lock.
