The name I found on FFOC was 'Receptacle and housing optimum aluminium'

Not sure if a Ford Dealer here will recognise that name, and imagine they would charge pretty generously in their favour! Cost was quoted at £64.20 inc vat new on FFOC, but no links to online stores unfortunately. They seem pretty hard to find!

well - had my first blown headlight yesterday, so changed over the globe (passenger side) what an effort that was!! I went to change the drivers side at the same time but couldn't - Firstly I couldnt get the wiring loom off the headlight, and then when I went to just take the globe out, it wouldn't budge - I couldn't pull the wire off the back of the globe.

Are they generally a bit of a pain to get off? I was a bit frustrated - all on the same day my glovebox decided it doesnt want to close anymore - thats at least fixed now!

Maybe because you haven't removed your headlights many times, you might find it a little tricky at first (the clips and wiring loom can be pretty tight). Once you've done it a few times though, you'll find it a breeze. I remove mine in about 30 sec - love how they designed the lights! Drivers side is definitely a tad more difficult, less room to get your hand down to undo the clip - best to use a long screwdriver.

I've only started doing this recently, but when removing bulbs, leave the metal clip clamped down to hold the bulb in, and then pull off the plug. This makes it much easier to remove the bulb, the bulb+clip doesn't get tangled up in the wires.

I've replaced both bulbs (at different times) twice in the past 12 months. Further reason to replace my dampers! If you want some decent bulbs at a good price: http://www.powerbulbs.com/ VERY impressed with these guys, their prices are very keen, they offer good brands, and they do free worldwide shipping (they do pack their stuff well and shipping is pretty quick).

yeah no dramas - it was $575 for;
RDA slotted rotors
EBC Green stuff pads
Fitting (took them about 35 mins!)

That was through Race Brakes Sydney. $100 of that was labour, so if you can be arsed doing it yourself you can save a few $$

**EDIT** That was front only

I'm ordering a whiteline sway bar next week, did you go for the 22mm one or the 24mm? I'm wanting to go for the X/heavy duty 24mm one but wondering about people opinions?

That will be great! There is a good guide on the XR5 forums if you get stuck. Mine has arrived but I'm too busy to install it for at least the next month.

Yeah I think it does, I haven't even completely opened mine either yet. It's just sitting there, collecting dust for now!

I fitted the bar this morning - was surprised how easy it was! took about an hour or so. Was made easier up on wheel ramps! I almost doubted myself when it was done thinking I forgot something!
